Standard Wilderness Survival Skills
This course is specifically tailored to meet the needs of those individuals who have successfully completed a winter, spring, or fall wilderness survival session. Our focus is to develop, sharpen, and expand the participant’s repertoire of survival skills, including use of the firebow and tracking techniques.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Wilderness Survival Skills
Mandatory texts/equipment: $82 Payable to instructor, (The Psychology of Wilderness Survival, $32.00; Crisis Management, $20.00;
Jasper/Steel Fire-starting Set, $30.00).
Mandatory purchases are available from SITB Instructor

- Fire Starting
When booking the services of Survival in the Bush Inc., funds are due upon confirmation of booking.
Medical reasons notwithstanding, should the client withdraw from any course, a 50% cancellation fee is automatically deducted from the full registration cost.
If withdrawing with less than 60 days notice prior to course commencement, there is no refund. Survival in the Bush Inc., reserves the right to refuse a student’s participation in any course should safety become a factor. All courses are subject to applicable sales tax.
Note: Clients are responsible for all transportation, gear, park fees, and meals while on course.
