This one-day workshop is for individuals interested in mastering the art of making their own leather moccasins. Participants will learn to identify different types of leather and their characteristics; discuss various tanning methods; how to utilize specific tools of the trade; as well as techniques needed to complete a pair of moccasins. All tools, leather, and sinew are supplied. Patterns provided range from children’s size to men’s extra large. Participants are encouraged to register in the Buckskin Coat Making workshop.
