Thank you for your interest in SITB and the Wilderness
Experience Certificate Programme (WECP). This programme with
its abundance of experiential and theoretical knowledge,
provides a wonderful opportunity to increase outdoor skills and
leadership ability. Survival in the Bush, Inc. courses are
dynamic, hands-on, and conducted mostly within remote regions
of Ontario.
Clients are advised to register early to avoid disappointment.
All equipment, transportation, park fees and meals are the
responsibility of each participant. Clients enrolled in WECP
commonly complete the certificate for insurance purposes,
upgrading skills, to increase corporate teambuilding, obtain
jobs within the teaching profession, guiding, and a host of
other related fields. WECP is devised for individuals
interested in pursuing outdoor education on a part-time
calendar.
SITB offers specialized courses for a variety of organizations,
e.g. military, school boards, hunters/anglers/snowmobilers,
aboriginal communities, corporations, etc; WECP College courses
are scheduled on specialized dates. If you are unable to find the answer to your

Advanced Course
Registration:
To register for intermediate or advanced
SITB courses, or if you have questions pertaining to
specialized or corporate programming, contact: Dr. Gino Ferri

WECP Course Registration:
To register for the 6 core and 2 optional
WECP courses, contact Loyalist College, Bancroft Campus at
telephone number 613 332 1743. GST / College Fees are
applicable to all programmes. WECP is ideally completed within
a 2 year span.

| When booking the services of Survival
in the Bush Inc., a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The
remaining funds are due 45 days prior to course commencement.
Medical reasons notwithstanding, should the client withdraw
from any course, a 50% cancellation fee is automatically
deducted from the full registration cost. If withdrawing with
less than 45 days notice prior to course commencement, there is
no refund. Survival in the Bush Inc., reserves the right to
refuse a student's participation in any course should safety
become a factor. All courses are subject to applicable GST and
College Fees. |
