Custom, hand-made deer/moose bone knives; handles are formed from deer antlers. Each comes complete with a leather case.

Hand-forged metal strikers of the best quality. Each kit contains a striker, chunk of chert, jasper, or flint, hand-laced leather pouch, and full instructions on firemaking. Used by our students since 1977. Excellent results.

This book is the text used in all wilderness survival courses at Georgian College, Loyalist College, Business & Industry Services at Humber College, and Laurentian University.

D2. Crisis Intervention: Managing Wilderness Emergencies (1997) -- $12.95 per copy.
Contents of this book were presented at the 1999 Symposium on Search and Rescue (SARSCENE 1999) in St. John's, Newfoundland. Excellent feedback and results. Similar findings will be delivered once again at the upcoming SARSCENE 2000 Conference, as sponsered by the National Search and Rescue Secretariat, in Laval, P.Q. This book is the cornerstone of our wilderness survival courses and search & rescue programme at both Georgian Colleges.

D3. Eating Out (2005) -- $25.00 each.
This easy to read manual outlines over 180 edible, medicinal, and useful plants. Co-authored by Dr. Gino Ferri and Jennifer Khan, Eating Out is another "must have" for the avid outdoorsperson. Well illustrated, this book is organized in 3 separate parts, with Jennifer's section offering a multitude of recipes. An extensive bibliography is included in each of the 3 chapters. Total pages: 201.

When booking the services of Survival in the Bush Inc., a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining funds are due 45 days prior to course commencement. Medical reasons notwithstanding, should the client withdraw from any course, a 50% cancellation fee is automatically deducted from the full registration cost. If withdrawing with less than 45 days notice prior to course commencement, there is no refund. Survival in the Bush Inc., reserves the right to refuse a student's participation in any course should safety become a factor. All courses are subject to applicable GST and Ancillary Fees.
